Privacy Policy and Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI)
BTC Broadband (BTC) knows how important personal privacy is to our customers. BTC maintains strict privacy policies and uses industry-accepted technologies to safeguard such information. As part of our commitment to our customers, BTC had adopted the following Privacy/CPNI Policy.
Information which may be collected:

Non-personal information: This information includes the products/services purchased from us and data relating to product/service use, such as long distance minutes of use and carrier. We use the information to track how we are doing and to help develop new product offerings that are beneficial to our customers.

Personal Information you give us: This information can include name, address, email address, etc. This personally identifiable information, which may be collected in the course of doing business, is only used to conduct business with you, provide you with specific services, and communicate with you. We may also use this information to send you information, including emails, about new products and services. If you have an account with us and provide us with the above information for the purpose of conducting business, you authorize us to store that information. NO INFORMATION IS EVER SOLD, RENTED OR GIVEN TO ANOTHER PARTY unless required by law or unless that company is transacting business on our behalf.
BTC Customer Privacy
As stated above, we do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to unaffiliated companies or marketing firms. We will NOT sell or give your email address to an outside party or person. We may share this information with other BTC entities. We share personal customer information only when required for the specific and limited purpose of analyzing and/or providing products or services to you.
Recent changes in FCC regulations give the customer a new choice about how BTC uses your account information to meet your future telecommunication needs. These new changes are designed to protect your privacy rights as a customer. BTC values our customers and meeting your communication needs is our top priority.
The Telecommunications Act now requires BTC to have your permission to use your Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI). CPNI is data that is not publicly available (like name, address, phone number) and includes information such as type of service, number of telephone lines, amount of usage, and calling and billing records. You now have the right to authorize use or non-use of your CPNI by BTC Broadband. Regardless of your decision, BTC will keep your information confidential. Giving BTC authorization allows us to further customize the services we can provide to you, our valued customer.
So that BTC employees are free to discuss and/or provide call detail information to you during a call that you initiate to a BTC office, please establish a password for your account. Contact us at 918-366-8000 to set this up.
You have the right under federal law to restrict the use of CPNI data, and we have a responsibility to protect your data. In order to restrict the use of your CPNI data, you must contact us in writing at the following address or email us at marketing@mybtc.com. Your restriction of this CPNI data will not affect the service or services to which you subscribe, but you may miss out on cost saving promotions and products we want to offer you.

BTC Wi-Fi App Privacy Policy:
How BTC Broadband Collects Your Information
BTC Broadband collects, and processes information provided directly by you when you install the BTC Wi-Fi App and register for an account to use said App. Specifically, this information includes:
- Your name, email address, location, phone number.
- Browser information and session cookies related to your access and use of the App.
- Data insights BTC Broadband attains based on correlation and analytics of your information collected in providing the App, which may be used in aggregated and dis-aggregated formats or to obtain trend analytics, to provide the App; and
- Use of the above-described collected information in aggregated and dis-aggregated formats to enhance our current App or to provide App features.
How BTC Broadband Uses the Information
BTC Broadband uses the information collected as described in this Privacy Policy, including personal information, to:
- Provide you with the BTC Wi-Fi App as described in the Agreement.
- Implement, improve and/or enhance the App, including to make future releases available to you.
- Carry out BTC Broadband’s obligations as described or authorized in the Agreement and this Privacy Policy.
- Enforce BTC Broadband’s rights arising from the Agreement between you and BTC Broadband; and
- Fulfill any other purpose authorized by you and reasonably required for the App.
